Mother Nature

It is always important for travelers to respect Mother Nature. Hurricane season is almost upon us, and while cruiselines in the Caribbean tend to change itineraries to avoid storms, leisure travelers sometimes don't even think about those things and try to place blame for weather on the travel industry. No fair. Try to get on top of the forecasts at least a week before travel so at least you are prepared. Right now air traffic to and from Europe is very iffy to some destinations due to the Iceland volcanic ash cloud, potentially screwing up arrivals for and departures from British Isles cruises and even Mediterranean cruises; and possibly even affecting the air around Amsterdam, where a number of European river cruises start or end. The ash cloud seems to have a mind of it's own and it's flow is harder to predict more than a few days ahead. Check with us and your air carrier and together we will try get you "there."
