Panama Canal

One of the most exciting of all cruising vacations have been reports from those folks returning from a Panama Canal cruise. Now how would you like to go through the Panama Canal twice - yes - twice on one cruise, with Caribbean and Pacific ports of call. We came across 2 cruises - one on each coast that is a round trip for 28 nites for rates starting at $1999/person. That is cheaper than rent in many parts of the country! (and of course it includes food and someone else to wash the dishes!) One cruise starts and ends in Fort Lauderdale, the other starts and ends in San Diego. While these are February 2011 cruises, don't expect the cabins to last at that rate. By the way, while this is not an adults-only cruise, I would not expect to find too many kids or spring breakers on a 28 nite cruise.
