Spring Break Cruises for Families and Students

Keep in mind that spring is the busiest cruise time of the year in the Bahamas and Caribbean. As such, families will be cramming Mom, Dad and kids into each available cabin, as will students. Cruiselines do a fantastic job and keeping track of people on board, but remember in the ports of call to have plans to meet if you get separated, and clearly understand times for reboarding - - ships do not wait for stragglers!
Also keep in mind that all drinks, including bottled water, sodas, and alcohol are extra charges that can build up to a big surprise at the end of the cruise on your "hotel" bill. Speaking of alcohol, here are some drinking age restrictions:
Clipper, Disney Cruise Line, Princess Cruises-
* All passengers in a cabin must be 18 or older, or
* If anyone in the cabin is younger than 18 years old, someone in the cabin must be 21 or older.
Celebrity, Costa (25 for March and April sailings), Norwegian Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean-
* At least one person in each cabin must be 21 or older
Carnival, Holland America and Windstar Cruises-
* All passengers in a cabin must be 21 or older, or
* If anyone in the cabin is younger than 21 years old, someone in the cabin must be 25 or older.
One exception to these age requirements is made for underage married couples, who as long as they are both 18 are allowed to board unaccompanied. These couples may be asked to show proof of their marriage.
We would be glad to answer any other questions as you get ready for your spring cruise - please feel free to call us!
