Large Ships, Small Ships

There's been a lot of media attention lately about the largest cruise ship in the world, the Oasis of the Seas with 5,200 passenger capacity. I've heard it said that this ship is a destination in itself, and with a park (grass and trees) in the middle, maybe so - a veritable floating resort, with activities for everyone. The Oasis would be a great cruise for a family reunion - - you know, everyone wants something different. But what about that romantic anniversary cruise? Do you know which cruise line, or which ship, or which destinations might best fit your style?
Hundreds of cruise ships sail the seas, and the rivers, around the world. There are some smaller Mediterranean ports that only small ships can get in to. Or perhaps you want to take a cruise because of the destination and the history - spend 2 days in a port like St. Petersburg, Russia. How about an adventure - an Alaskan cruise to see the fjords, wildlife and a guided land tour to Denali? Warm weather cruises abound! Caribbean cruises are great for a late winter getaway.
